In separate incidents last week, police rearrested two Livermore men, including one with a lengthy drunk-and-disorderly rap sheet.

Gregory Soto, a 42-year-old who was once arrested three times in three days for public intoxication, and more recently on Nov. 1, was apprehended again at 4 a.m. Monday -- this time for allegedly being drunk behind the wheel of someone else's car, according to Livermore Police Department records.

Soto is incarcerated on no-bail status at Santa Rita Jail, Dublin, after his booking on charges of driving under the influence and possession of a stolen vehicle, court records state. And another Livermore man, Jeffrey Potter, 23, was picked up by officers downtown early Saturday morning for reported possession of narcotics and resisting arrest, court records show.

Potter's past shows an October 2011 Livermore arrest for felony robbery and grand theft, files state. He is also at Santa Rita. In other area crime news:   Saturday, May 11
