  • LIONESS Club welcomes new members. The Livermore Lioness Club welcomes new members on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Participating is a great way to meet local people. The Lioness are a service club that helps many worthy causes in the Tri-Valley areas. Lioness' main focuses are women, children, family issues and helping the blind. For information, 925-443-4543.

  • The Quebe Sisters Band 8 p.m. at Bankhead Theater.  Three exceptionally talented sisters, Hulda, Sophia and Grace Quebe, bring a fresh, youthful enthusiasm to the rich musical traditions of the Lone Star State.

SATURDAY, JUNE 8   
  •  Livermore Rodeo Parade -- Second Street in downtown Livermore, 10 a.m. to noon.  
  • Gallery On The Green 10 a.m., FREE. Wente Vineyards will be hosting the Pleasanton Art League for an art show on the Vineyard Lawn overlooking the Course At Wente Vineyards.
  • ELKS Annual Rodeo Dinner Dance.  5:30 p.m. Livermore-Pleasanton Elks  Lodge, 940 Larkspur Drive (Springtown), 94551. Full dinner, cocktails, music, dancing -- family invited. Reservations and purchase tickets by Thursday, June 6. (925) 455-8829.
  • 95th Annual Livermore Rodeo. Gates open 11 a.m. and Grand Entry begins 3 p.m.
SUNDAY, JUNE 9
  • Livermore Rodeo Patriot Day: Show support of our service men and women by wearing RED on Sunday! Check out the Wounded Warrior Project at http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org. The Lil Pardners Rodeo: Get to the grounds early to watch the special-needs children partake in a mock rodeo. 
  • 95th Annual Livermore Rodeo. Gates open at 11 a.m. Grand Entry begins 3 p.m.
