The Livermore Valley

Dominating the view of the Livermore Valley and thought by many to be an ancient volcano, Mount Diablo (3,864 ft/ 1,084 m) is an isolated upthrust peak. Located roughly 50 miles (70km) southeast of San Francisco, the City of Livermore is the easternmost city in the San Francisco Bay Area. The oldest Wine Country in California, the Livermore Valley is home to over 50 wineries.
