Just One Thing in Livermore: Veterans Day Fly-Over, Livermore-Granada HS Alumni Football Game

There's always something to do in Livermore but here is our "short list" of things to do each day.

On Thursday, Nov. 7 kick off the holiday weekend right with the 7th Annual Honoring Veterans Day at Las Positas College. Starts at 9:30 a.m. with fly-over, landing of a Huey helicopter.
End the week on Friday, Nov. 8 with the 2nd Annual Livermore-Granada Alumni Football Game. 6 p.m. Livermore High School. All proceeds will be donated to the football programs at each school.
On Saturday, Nov. 9 head over to Galina's Music Studio's free open house. The event includes: Performance Showcase, games, raffles, prizes include ukulele, music lessons, music books. Light refreshments. 2222 Second St., Suite 2, Livermore. 2 p.m.
The Bankhead Theater is hosting Turtle Island & Nellie McKay on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 2 p.m. Singer and multi-instrumentalist McKay joins Grammy Award-winning Turtle Island Quartet in music of Billie Holiday, Billy Strayhorn, and 1920s cabaret.
