First class is FREE for anyone new to me! In these classes you'll learn how to use weighted, maraca-like Zumba Toning Sticks to enhance rhythm, build strength and tone all the target zones. If you do not already have ZUMBA Toning sticks, I have a few loaner pairs available at the studio...but you'll more than likely want to purchase your own for long-term use. These will be available to purchase at the studio as well. You may use light weights instead of ZUMBA Tonight sticks but no more than 2.5 pound weights. Be cautious in using handheld weights instead of toning sticks. Weights cannot be "shaken" as the toning sticks can...since ZUMBA Toning is based on the ZUMBA format, there is dancing/shaking involved, take caution when using hand weights and DO NOT SHAKE them. And remember, they must be less than 3 pounds in weight.
