Viola Buitoni, a descendant of the well known pasta dynasty and an Italian food educator in San Francisco, will talk about her family history, how her heritage shaped her love for cooking and how to best marry the bounty of California to a classic Italian pantry to create delicious, healthy seasonal food.

Viola Buitoni is a cooking instructor and food specialist at San Francisco's Italian Cultural Institute. She is also a food writer for MissionLocal.org.
