No injuries were reported in the accident.

"The vehicle went through the front window and ended at the back wall of the building," Peters said.

There were an estimated three to five people inside the business when the vehicle came crashing through the window, Peters said.

My family and I just stepped out of IHOP this morning after a big breakfast. We heard and saw a few fire trucks, but from our vantage point, we would not have known what had happened. We just saw them all parked outside close to Richards. Thanks for letting us know what happened. Grateful...no injuries as yet to report. TC

I've been going there for years. I also work a few stores down. When I showed up for work today the first thing I did was go and check to see if everyone was ok. They are usually open around 9:30 am but today was different. I really glad to know the salon was still closed and not full like they should have been. As of 7pm there was boards up and a temp door. The mess is still there, not sure when they will re-open. Still not sure what happened to the guy driving the car.

Just to be clear: "...thank God God was on his side..." when we're talking about a guy who blacked out, crashed his car, got banged up and destroyed a shop. What does God do to people he doesn't like?
Daniel Gutierrez March 28, 2012 at 11:12 PM
TO CURIOUS, that guy was my brother, he blacked out not from drinking but from an undetermined medical condition. Yes god was on his side because he did not kill himself or anyone else.yeah the shop and my mothers car was damaged, but human life was spared. IT WAS AN ACCIDENT! dont judge idiot till you know the facts moron and please why do u hide behind a curious handle.
Daniel Gutierrez March 28, 2012 at 11:25 PM
In other words CURIOUS, Put your name on it! And by the way Pamela Condley is my aunt, she was speaking from the heart. Out of concern for her nephew and also the people who work at the nail salon.God did ok in this situation.
Curious March 28, 2012 at 11:42 PM
Whoa! Not judging or dissing you, your brother, your God or your aunt, and my sympathies to each of you for this unfortunate accident. I hope your brother's issue is not serious and gets fixed. The rest is just insurance. I know your aunt just went with a common expression of relief, but if someone knocks me out while I'm operating a potentially lethal machine, I won't be thanking him/her just because even more damage wasn't done. Why the alias? Well, when people start jumping up and down shouting 'moron' and 'idiot', it doesn't feel very safe out there. My best to each of you.

Anna, we will be back as soon as you reopen...Glad you are all ok. We are thinking of you...JESSICA
