Police Log: Trespassers, Loiterers Did Not Pass Go

Alleged offenders sent directly to jail, and other notable incidents from Nov. 29 to Dec. 4.

The Livermore Police Department reports assaults, impaired drivers and a couple incidents of trespassing and loitering that landed suspects behind bars.

Tuesday, Nov. 29

  • Two ex-convicts, 37 and 23 years old, were arrested at 1:19 p.m. on the 300 block of Elizabeth Court on various criminal charges. One suspect was also charged with allegedly possessing firearms in violation of his felon status. Both are in custody at the Santa Rita Jail in Dublin.
  • Domestic violence was reported on the 3100 block of Faltings Drive at 3:23 p.m.
  • Residential burglary was reported at 4:15 p.m. on the 2600 block of Kellogg Court.
  • Residential burglary was reported on the 800 block of Lambaren Avenue at 5:30 p.m.
  • A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft at 11:57 p.m. on the 1500 block of First Street.

Wednesday, Nov. 30

  • Domestic assault was reported at 8 a.m. on the 900 block of Via Seville.
  • Assault and battery was reported on the 100 block of South L Street at 9:12 p.m.
  • Robbery was reported on the 2300 block of Nissen Drive at 12:25 p.m.
  • Petty theft was reported on the 5700 block of East Avenue at 5:45 p.m.

Thursday, Dec. 1

  • Three adults were arrested on trespassing charges at 1:24 a.m. on the 800 block of Trinity Hills Lane. A 26-year-old male suspect is jailed on $5,000 bail. A 29-year-old male accomplice was released after posting $2,500 bail. The third suspect, a 20-year-old female, is still in custody with $5,000 bail for trespassing, plus $10,000 added for robbery and grand theft charges from another case. Court appearances for the trio are pending. 
  • Assault was reported on the 800 block of Rincon Avenue at 11:50 a.m.
  • Domestic violence was reported on the 5900 block of Southfront Road at 6:30 p.m.
  • Assault and battery was reported on the 700 block of Barleta Court at 11:13 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 2

  • Commercial burglary incident was called in at 4:05 p.m. on the 100 block of Meritage Common.
  • Domestic battery was reported on the 500 block of Cedar Drive at 4:22 p.m.
  • A 54-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence at 7:02 p.m. at First Street and Las Positas Road.
  • Report of grand theft and shoplifting was made at 7:55 p.m. on the 2400 block of Las Positas Road.

Saturday, Dec. 3

  • A 32-year-old Livermore man was arrested on the 3200 block of Edinburgh Drive at 1:24 a.m. for suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.
  • A 23-year-old man was arrested at 2:05 a.m. at the intersection of Chestnut Street and North Livermore Avenue on suspicion of driving under the influence. 
  • A 42-year-old man was arrested at 2:45 a.m. on the 4300 block of Las Positas Road on suspicion of driving under the influence.
  • Vandalism was reported on the 1600 block of Paseo Laguna Seco at 3:13 a.m.
  • Vehicle theft was reported at 10:30 a.m. from the Hagemann Drive and Tampalpais Avenue area.

Sunday, Dec. 4

  • A 44-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence at 12:45 a.m. at North Vasco Road and Scenic Avenue. Her 44-year-old male companion was charged with public intoxication.
  • An assault with intent to terrorize was called in at 1:28 a.m. on the 800 block of Yolo Way.
  • An 18-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence at 1:56 a.m. on the 3500 block of Pacific Avenue.
  • A 22-year-old male was arrested at 3:33 a.m. on the 4500 block of First Street on suspicion of public intoxication. 
  • Two men, 30 and 28 years old, and a 30-year-old female were arrested on the 500 block of South S Street at 3:55 p.m. on loitering charges. The woman was also charged with suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia and a knife. After being booked and posting respective bails at the Santa Rita Jail, the three face January court dates. 
  • DUI arrest was made at 6:02 p.m. at South Vasco and LasPositas roads.  
  • Vandalism was reported at 10:22 p.m. on the 100 block of North Livermore Avenue.
