Police Arrest Man For Possession of Burglary Tools

Pleasanton man was seen looking into garages in area of Concannon Boulevard and Murdell Lane.

A Pleasanton man was arrested Friday on suspicion of possession of burglary tools, Sgt. Todd Madrid said.

At 2:53 p.m. police stopped a man walking around the area of Concannon Boulevard and Murdell Lane. Police earlier received calls of a suspicious man wandering around the area and looking into garages.

A search found the man, later identified as 35-year-old Rene Martin, to be in possession of several shaved and blank keys, Madrid said.

Shaved keys are used to get into cars, Madrid said.

Martin was then arrested and taken to Santa Rita Jail in Dublin.
