Livermore Teacher Pleads No Contest to Having Sex With Student
Marie Johnson, a former Granada High teacher, is scheduled to be sentenced May 15 at the Hayward Hall of Justice.
A former Granada High teacher plead no contest to nine counts of having sex with a student, according to Alameda County Deputy District Attorney Glenn Kim.
Marie Johnson entered her no-contest plea on Tuesday at the Hayward Hall of Justice. She was arrested in January 2012 on charges for sexual assault of a 14-year-old boy.
Those charges include unlawful sexual intercourse with a person under 18, oral copulation and committing a lewd act on a child, according to court records.

Johnson, 42, previously pleaded not guilty to the charges a month after being arrested.
She is scheduled to be sentenced at 9 a.m. on May 15 in Department 502 of the Hayward Hall of Justice.
