Here's information provided by the Livermore Police Department:
On 03/15/13, The California Department of Social Services requested the assistance of the Livermore Police Department with the closure of the Universal Preschool LCC, located at 1040 Florence Road in Livermore. Universal Preschool LCC was formally known as The Sunnyside Infant and Preschool. The Universal Preschool LCC is not affiliated with the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District.
The closure of the Universal Preschool LCC was the result of State licensing violations discovered by the Department of Social Services. Livermore Police Detectives assisted the Department of Social Services throughout the day in locating parents and informing families of the preschool closure.
The Livermore Police Department has not received any reports of criminal violations. LPD Detectives will be working with the Department of Social Services to ensure no crimes were committed.
