A former campus supervisor and karate teacher at a charter school in Livermore who was recently arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a 14-year-old student has now been charged with allegedly molesting another student.
Jason Quero, a 30-year-old Mountain House man, was arraigned in Alameda County Superior Court in Pleasanton on Tuesday on 10 felony counts for allegedly molesting the two victims.

Court records indicate that Quero is free on $415,000 bail and is scheduled to return to court on July 15 to enter a plea to the charges against him. Livermore police said Quero was arrested on June 27 on suspicion of oral copulation and penetration with a foreign object for allegedly abusing a female student between 2010 and 2011, when she was 14.
At the time of the alleged abuse, Quero was employed as a campus supervisor at Livermore Valley Charter School, police said. Quero had worked for the charter school since 2005 but was released from his employment at the school recently after police began investigating him, police spokesman Steve Goard said.
The investigation began on June 23 after the first alleged victim contacted police. Quero also contracted with the school to provide karate lessons to students on campus after school hours under the name of Golden State Seibukan Academy, according to police.
Quero previously worked for the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District as a substitute campus supervisor at Arroyo Mocho School from 2003 to 2005 and for the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District as a teacher's aide at Arroyo Mocho School's extended student services program from 2001 to 2003, police said. Quero was released from custody on June 29 after he posted $400,000 bail, but Livermore police Officer Cynthia Moore said in a probable cause statement that police received information on July 2 that Quero had also molested a second victim.
The second alleged victim told police that she had several sexual encounters with Quero, according to Moore. A warrant was issued for Quero on July 2 and he was arrested without incident later that day at his in-laws' residence in Livermore, Moore said.
After the initial arrest on June 27, police said they were encouraging parents to talk to their children if they think that they may have had contact with Quero.

Quero is charged with three counts each of performing lewd acts on a child under the age of 14 and sexual penetration with a foreign object on a child under 16, as well as one count each of oral copulation of a child under 16, continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14, sending harmful matter to a minor and child molesting.
Seven of the counts involve the first alleged victim in the case, known in court documents as Jane Doe One, and two counts involve the second alleged victim, known as Jane Doe Two.

I'm just glad he's gone. My kids hated him - he was an angry and mean person, who never should have worked with children. My daughter (9 yrs) said it made her feel uneasy that Jason always had a group of girls hanging around him. Good riddance!! I can only hope that there are only 2 young ladies and no more, but I fear there will be more girls coming forward :-( My heart breaks for them.

Miss C, Every job I have worked at involving children Required I have fingerprints taken and background check with the DOJ. Perhaps he cleared all those things? Interesting idea for the data base, I use a similar database when choosing doctors or contractors. I hope the victims don't read these comments, these kids are so brave! I had a cousin physically abusing me. He said if I told ,no one would believe me, they would laugh at me, and would would hurt me worse besides the torture I had to hide. So I said nothing. They are brave!! I thank them and their families. Kathleen you said it so well, I pray for them too.
