Fire Engulfs Hunting Cabin Near Lake Del Valle

No injuries reported in blaze caused by a propane tank leak.

A hunting cabin burned to the ground Friday after a propane tank leak sparked a blaze that fully engulfed the building, said Gary Linney, Alameda County Fire Department battalion chief.

Firefighters responded to the blaze around 11:30 a.m. in a rural area near Lake Del Valle.

"The building was completely consumed by the fire when we arrived," Linney said.
