Fire Crews Extinguish Small Blaze Near Railroad Tracks
Yesterday, July 7, the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department put out a blaze involving storage items and a car at a property on North I Street, plus vegetation adjacent to the nearby railroad tracks.
Firefighters extinguished a small blaze Thursday afternoon near a storage yard on North I Street in Livermore.
The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department responded to a fire at 1:29 p.m. yesterday involving vegetation adjacent to the nearby railroad tracks, Battalion Chief Joe Testa said.
The flames were also burning stored materials, including one car, on the property at 208 North I Street.

Emergency crews from three fire stations brought the flames under control after about 15 minutes, and within an hour had the blaze completely extinguished, Testa said.
Officials believe the fire originated near the fence line of the property, but no cause has been determined.
