Katie Strube says her son's memorial has been stolen for a second time
The memorial on the corner of Kara Place and Lomitas Avenue where my son took his last breath on May 8, 2012, provides me solace.
If you took the items, I would really appreciate it if you returned them. I work and so does my husband so we can afford to replace them, but it is very hurtful that this happened. I have made the memorial smaller over time so as to try not to bother anyone.
If you are walking in the area and see the missing items (his picture, the lantern, the bracelet, and the dragonfly solar light) thrown along the road, please return them to the corner. Thank you.
Editor's note: This is the second the memorial has been stolen. In the summer of 2013, Strube posted an announcement that said the stone memorial had been taken. The stone was eventually replaced by another bereaved mother.
