Woolly Delights

Come see the mini lambs at Concannon Winery on Easter Sunday.

Concannon Winery has eschewed the use of chemicals and tractors in favor of mini sheep for fertilization and weed control around the vineyards.

These "mini munchers," a heritage breed of sheep called "Olde English Babydoll Southdown," are well-suited to work in the vineyards because of their short stature.

Some of this year's lambs will be in a penned area near the lawn at the winery on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
