BART to Livermore May Alter I-580 Carpool Lane

If plans to extend BART into Livermore moves forward, taxpayers may be billed to move I-580 carpool lane they already paid for, according to report.

Remember the carpool lane unveiled on Interstate 580 in November 2010?

Turns out that lane, which relieved congestion on an 11-mile stretch from Pleasanton to Livermore on eastbound I-580, may have to be gutted and moved if plans to , according to a report from The Bay Citizen news website.

And oh, you may have to pay for it.
