Ravenswood Victorian Tea (Sold Out)

Celebrate May Day with the annual Ravenswood Victorian Tea for a springtime afternoon of dignified delight. This year marks the 15th anniversary for the charming event, presented by the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District and the Ravenswood Progress League.

The 1890s restored Victorian country estate provides an idyllic setting for an afternoon tea. Ravenswood Historic Site is on the National Register of Historic Places, is a State of California Historical Point of Interest and is a City of Livermore Historic Preservation Landmark Site.

The Victorian Tea event takes place from 2 - 4:30 p.m. Sunday, May 1, at Ravenswood (2647 Arroyo Road).

Experience this historic site while enjoying elegant sweets and savories, a selection of teas, sparking wine and sparkling juice. (A special menu is set; special food requests cannot be accommodated.)

This event is open to adults and children ages 8 and older.

Docents will be dressed in Victorian-era costumes as they serve the tea. Live background music will be on hand as well.

Two seating locations are available: inside the historic home or outside on the covered porch.

Tickets are $37 per person. All donations benefit the Ravenswood Historic Site Furnishing Fund, an ongoing project of the nonprofit Ravenswood Progress League that supports restoration and public programs at the site.

Reservations are being taken until the event is full.
