Software Company Moving Headquarters from Livermore to Dublin

Epicor will relocate its 360 employees to the Dublin Corporate Center in January 2012, according to the Bay Area News Group.

Epicor Software will move its worldwide headquarters from Livermore to Dublin at the start of 2012, Bay Area News Group reports.

The global company, which makes business software, has signed a lease for 74,000 square feet in Dublin Corporate Center, an increase over the 55,000 square feet it currently occupies at 7683 Southfront Road in Livermore, the report says.

Spokeswoman Jessica Shelton told the newspaper the company will make the move in January, relocating all 363 of its Livermore employees, including CEO Pervez Qureshi.

The report quotes Dublin economic development official Linda Maurer, who said the center's proximity to the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station is becoming a huge factor for employers wishing to relocate there.

The Class A office park is located at the corner of Dublin Boulevard and Tassajara Road.

In May, Epicor was purchased by Apax Partners, a private equity firm, along with Activant Solutions. Apax combined the two companies but retained the Epicor Software name.
