Westminster Kennel Club Show Awards Livermore Schnauzer 'Best of Breed'

A 5-year-old schnauzer named "Ogee" made quite an impression at the 138th Westminster Kennel Club Show Awards in New York City this week.

Ogee Saltus Ze Zahrabske, who has been competing in dog shows for several years, won "Best of Breed" honors on Tuesday.

According to the Westminster website, Ogee is owned by Carol Davis-Earle, Cornelia Cheng and Ellen and Brad Yamada.

Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show website says the show is "America's second-longest continuously held sporting event, behind only the Kentucky Derby" and over 300,000 dogs have competed the 134 shows.

Sky, a wire fox terrier, won the Best in Show at this year's Westminster Kennel Club Show Awards, according to the Westminster Kennel Club Show Facebook page.
