  • HEALTH & SAFETY: Eating for Your Health Part II.  6901 York Drive, Dublin. 7 p.m. This course will challenge the conventional paradigm of 
    pharmaceutical medicine and encourages participants to take charge of their own wellness. 
  • St. Raymond School - School Tour. Take a tour of the school, meet the Principal, get your questions answered and learn more about what makes St. Raymond a great school.

  • Science on Saturday. Bankhead Theater, Livermore. A four-week series of free lectures and demonstrations intended for middle and high school students. 9:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.
  • In Our Backyard: Celebrating local, fresh and sustainable foods. Brentwood. The day-long program includes a catered lunch featuring fresh local produce, a talk about improving soil in your home garden by Dr. Steve Andrews, and presentations by Brentwood farmers who have pioneered the region’s successful production of Sweet Corn and olive oil. 1 p.m.
  • PAWS IN NEED VALENTINE CRAB FEED. Shannon Community Center, 11600 Shannon Ave., Dublin. 6 p.m. Dinner includes cracked crab, pasta, Caesar salad, bread, dessert, and coffee or tea. Tickets:  $48 per person until Jan. 18th, then $53 per person.
