My response to Danville Resident:
So, what you are advocating is that we should only post and discuss topics that are non-controversial, or about some silly award that simply wastes bandwidth?The truth does NOT cease to exist when it is ignored.
What Danville advocates is his version of 1984, where we have one collective mind that never rocks the boat, where we have public manipulation to destroy personal thought, and "Newspeak" where certain words, phrases, ideas and thoughts AND FREE EXPRESSION OF THOSE is banned by the liberal government, and people like @ John R are persecuted for individualism and independent thinking as "thoughtcrimes".
