New Leaf Customers Donate $17,336 During Holiday Food Drive

During November and December, customers of New Leaf Community Markets’ stores donated a total of $17,336 for area food banks which will provide meals for 69,343 families in need.

Thanks to the generosity of New Leaf customers at the Pleasanton store, The Alameda County Community Food Bank received $1,202 which translates to 4,808 meals.  The Food Bank is one of California’s busiest and more efficient food banks with a nutrition education program and an innovative advocacy program for low income residents.
