Sprouts & Shutters: Jo-Ann Store Moving and Hiring

The Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft store will be moving in May from their current location at 1635 Chestnut Street in Livermore to 4650 First Street.

According to their website announcement, the store will be open on May 17 and will have their official grand opening from May 30 through June 1. The company recently sent out fliers to residents in the Tri-Valley about the new location.

On March 28, Patch reader Nicolette Beardsley posted the Livermore Patch Facebook page that she saw a sign announcing the move at the store.

Beardsley wrote:

"The Joann's fabrics on Chestnut has a big sign saying they're moving; does anyone know where to?"

The store is currently hiring for the new location. On April 4 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and April 5 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. interested parties can apply in person at the Holiday Inn Express located at 3000 Constitution Drive.

Jo-Ann's also has a location in Dublin at 7177 Amador Plaza Road.
