UPDATE: Woman Nearly Hit in Mobile Home Park Shooting

Police are investigating a shooting at the Lonesome Dove Estate mobile home park in north Livermore.

A woman was inches away from being hit by a stray bullet that entered her home Friday evening, Livermore police Sgt. Kevin Santin said.

At about 5:15 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Lonesome Dove Estate mobile home park on the 800 block of Olivina Avenue for a report of a shooting.

Police, with guns drawn, temporarily canvassed the area before taping off a section of the mobile home park in north Livermore.

The single shot came from a unit across from where the woman was nearly hit.

The suspected shooter, who is a resident at the mobile home park, left prior to police arriving and has not been located, Santin said.

"We have no idea why the shot was fired," Santin said.

There were no injuries reported and an investigation is ongoing.
