HERS Breast Cancer Foundation, Neighbor

HERS Breast Cancer Foundation's mission is to support all individuals healing from breast cancer by providing post-surgical products and services regardless of financial status. HERS is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Federal Tax ID #94-3309906. The Foundation operates three Assistance Programs which support low income, under-insured, and uninsured patients and this work is made possible by grants, private donations, and income from two major annual fundraisers.

HERS Breast Cancer Foundation provides high quality products and is highly regarded for the outstanding patient service and compassionate emotional support provided by its team members. The Foundation's goal is to empower and care for each client as a whole person, and to be "a soft place to fall" during one of the most difficult times of a patient's life.

HERS has been in continuous operation since its founding in 1998 and operates Program Store locations in Fremont, Pleasanton, and San Leandro, and is well known for its beautiful and welcoming spaces. HERS is a DME (Durable Medical Equipment) Provider and is accredited via the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics.
