Firefighter Injured, Trailer Destroyed During 20 Acre Vegetation Fire

The firefighter sustained minor injuries and a trailer was destroyed, fire officials said.

One firefighter was injured during a  two-alarm vegetation fire east of Livermore this afternoon, Alameda County fire officials said. 

Fire officials reported on Twitter that crews were responding to the blaze off of West Corral Hollow Road, which is at the eastern edge of the county, at 4:28 p.m.

Crews from Cal Fire and the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department assisted Alameda County firefighters in knocking down the blaze. One firefighter had minor injuries.

A trailer was destroyed in the fire, which burned 10 to 20 acres, fire officials said via Twitter.
