19 Cars Burglarized Overnight in Livermore

Cars parked in two areas of Livermore were hit sometime in the early morning hours on Monday.

Livermore Police officials confirmed that 13 cars were burglarized overnight near Springtown while 6 cars were burglarized in the county jurisdiction of Livermore on Doolan Road.

According to Livermore Police Officer Traci Rebiejo, the cars parked along Doolan Road were discovered sometime around 2 a.m.

"Around 4:30 a.m, we found six cars near Bluebell Drive and Heather Lane with smashed windows," Rebiejo said. 

By the end of the day, Rebiejo says a total of 13 cars in Springtown had been reported as having been burglarized. A car stereo was taken from at least one of the cars.

Rebiejo reminds residents to always lock their car and avoid leaving valuables in plain sight inside vehicles.
