18-Year-Old Seriously Injured in Car Versus Pedestrian Accident

Livermore Police are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.

Livermore Police Department responded to a collision on SR 84 (Isabel Avenue) at Airway Boulevard Monday.

According to a release, dispatch received a call at about 10:21 p.m. Sept. 16 that there was an injury accident.

Officers responding to the scene found that a Honda station wagon driven by a 44-year-old man from Pleasanton struck an 18-year-old Livermore man who was crossing Airway Blvd., police said.

The Livermore man was seriously injured in the collision and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The extent of his injuries is unknown at this time.
The driver of the Honda was interviewed and released, police said.

Northbound SR 84 was closed for several hours while officers conducted the investigation.
