Working Man Brewing Company, located in Livermore, has recently opened their tasting to the public. Two independent breweries, Mt. Diablo Brewing and Working Man Brewing Company, came together after discovering that they had similar philosophies in brewing and beer in general.

Joel Pelote, one of the founders, explained how, “After we discovered each other and looked over our business goals (and of course drank each others beer), it just made sense to work together.”

Their goals include producing local, high quality beer, consistently improving their recipes and techniques and providing customers with excellent service. After 18 months, they were successfully able to turn their new space into a full production brewery.

Visitors can now sample a variety of beers and have their growlers filled while they wait. Currently, they have six regular beers right now but they also have a portfolio of dozens of other beers that they can also brew upon request.

According to Pelote, the small batches that they serve in their tasting room tend to go fast. He also mentioned that while all of their beers have been well-received so far, Sneaky Devil Imperial IPA and their Whistle Blower Belgian Wit seem to have a big following.

Recently, they made their debut at the Livermore Wine Country Festival and received great interest. They will soon be pouring again at the upcoming Thirty Thursday for the Livermore Farmer's Market, and are looking into a couple other events including the Danville Art and Wine Stroll

As Pelote explained, “Our main goal has always been to brew the best beer we possibly can.  We focus on quality and balance in every product we put out on the market. We are excited to bring local quality beer to Livermore, the Tri-Valley, and beyond!”

Their tastings will provide an opportunity for customers to check out their products and even purchase branded merchandise such as t-shirts and hats to show Working Man pride. For all their latest news you can also sign up for their newsletter.
