Leonis, a 15-year-old Livermore boy, has returned home as his battle with Hodgkin's Lymphoma continues, according to the Team Deven Facebook page.

On March 15, the following message was posted on the Team Deven page:

Our family is being forced to make the hardest decision of our lives. Devens heart and liver are failing. We are choosing to take him home and keep him as comfortable as we can. We will do our best to enjoy him as much as possible over the coming days. Some of our nurse friends will help us out until we can get his hospice started. Please keep our family in your prayers as we face the hardest days of our lives.

Leonis was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma on his 14th birthday. He has gone through multiple treatments of Chemotherapy and radiation.

Last year, Leonis' school Junction Avenue K-8 school, raised more than $2,400 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the Contra Costa Times reported.
