<p>William Mendenhall Middle School, home of the Mustangs, serves 860 students in grades 6 - 8, on a campus built in 1967 in southwest Livermore. It is considered the largest middle school in the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District.</p> <p>The campus boasts a strong music program, with an orchestra, band, choir and music/drama elective courses. It also has the only middle school wood shop program in the district.</p> <p>The school colors are maroon and gold.
