Trader Joe's

This specialty food and grocery chain sells an eclectic mix of everyday staples like milk and bread, along with a selection of more exotic, hard-to-find items. Trader Joe's offers many foods under its own brand name and negotiates special deals with suppliers, resulting in low prices. The large Livermore store opened in March, 2007. A mural painted across the walls depicts the Livermore landscape, and the registers are named after local streets. It's all part of an effort by Trader Joe's to make each store feel like "Your neighborhood grocery store."
