Del Valle is a continuation high school in the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District. It includes the Phoenix alternative high school program. Both schools focus on preparing students to transition to successful post-secondary-school lives. The high school is housed in an historic downtown building that was rebuilt in 1922. In 2005, it received wiring and electrical upgrades. The building features 11 classrooms, a multi-purpose room and cafeteria, a library and multimedia center, a new college and career center and multiple offices. Kat Hannah is the principal for both Del Valle and Phoenix.
