Little League World Series: Teams From Around the Country, the World in Livermore

Teams from around the world and from the United States are in Livermore this week for the 2013 Little League World Series

Livermore is the the spotlight this week as Little League fans from all over the United States and around the world watch the Little League World Series. The series kicks off tomorrow at the Max Baer Park in Livermore. The Opening Day Parade will be at 6 p.m. tonight in downtown Livermore.

Here are the teams competing this year:

Central: Georgetown LL - Jenison, Michigan
East: Collier Township/Chartiers Valley LL - Collier Township, Pennsylvania
Northwest: Pleasanton National LL - Pleasanton, CA
Southeast: Rutherfordton LL - Rutherfordton, North Carolina
Southwest: Post Oak LL - Houston, Texas
West: Nogales National LL - Nogales, Arizona
Canada: Southwest LL - Lethbridge, Alberta
Latin America: C Unidas Miraflores LL - Guayquil, Ecuador
Puerto Rico: Juan A. Bibiloni LL - Yabucoa, Puerto Rico
Asia-Pacific: Izumisano LL - Osaka, Japan
