Livermore voters discuss their selections for mayor and two city council seats.

Voters headed to the polls Tuesday to decide on a new mayor and to elect two city council members.

Are voters happy with the current state of the city? Do they want change?

"I voted for Barbara Hickman for mayor. Laureen Turner and Stu Gary also got my vote for city council. I'm looking for a change of pace." —Marc Eiden

"I like the way our current administration is running Livermore. I voted for John Marchand, Marshall Kamena and Laureen Turner. I like downtown and love how the city is coming along." —Aaron Zilm

"I voted for Minuete McKernan for mayor. She seemed like she has some good things planned for the city. I voted Marshall Kamena for city council. I'm happy with what he has been doing for the city. I also voted Laureen Turner for city council. I've been hearing about parks shutting down throughout the state. I want the city to help keep the parks in town open, and I think she'll be able to help do that." —Pat Morrow
