Tri-Valley Mayors Gather in Washington, D.C.

More than 220 of the nation's mayors attend 79th Winter Meeting of the U.S. Conference of Mayors.

Mayors throughout the Tri-Valley and Congressman Jerry McNerney met in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday to talk about regional priorities for the area. 

Mayor Tim Sbranti of Dublin, Mayor Karen Stepper of Danville, Mayor Marshall Kamena of Livermore, and Mayor H. Abram Wilson of San Ramon discussed varying topics including: energy preparedness, a public-private partnership designed to support the growth of small businesses and clean-energy technologies and proposed transportation infrastructure improvements throughout the Tri-Valley region.

“I’m glad to have the opportunity to meet with our local Mayors and discuss how we can work together to improve the Tri-Valley region,” said Rep. McNerney.
