Plans For Shopping Center Move Forward

Livemore Planning Commission approves shopping center for west side of town.

Planning commissioners on Tuesday approved a shopping center proposed for the west side of town.

The Paragon Outlets project, formerly known as Prime Outlets Livermore Valley, will go before the at a future date to be announced, said Fred Osborn, city planning manager.

The project includes eight retail buildings and a food court spanning more than 550,000 square feet.  It will take up 42 acres – including 2,400 parking spaces — off El Charro Road.

In addition, Jack London Boulevard will be extended west to meet El Charro Road, according to project plans.

Commissioners also requested staff to improve parts of the project's design, including adding more landscaping and incorporating a City of Livermore sign to the main entrance.
