FREE Livermore Community Shred Event

The City of Livermore is celebrating "National Recycling Week" with a FREE Community Shred Event for Livermore residents*.  Livermore residents may have up to three (3) "banker boxes" of material securely shredded onsite.  Shred-it, a certified document destruction company, accepts the following material: white and colored paper (paper clips/staples OK); file folders; window envelopes; personal information; old tax documents.  While at the drop off location, residents can pick up recycling information provided by Livermore Sanitation, as well as identity theft prevention tips.  Visit the City of Livermore at www.cityoflivermore.net or call the City of Livermore "Recycling Helpline" at 925-960-8015 for more information.
