Community Working Group to Discuss Cleanup Efforts

Community Working Group meetings, hosted by the U.S. Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration and the Laboratory, are held periodically to discuss ongoing cleanup of historic groundwater contamination at the Laboratory's Livermore site. The Livermore site was added to the Comprehensive Environmental Remediation Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) National Priorities (Superfund) List in 1987.

Current and proposed remediation/cleanup efforts will be discussed as part of the Community Working Group meeting agenda. The general public is invited to attend and participate in the discussion. Information about Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory CERCLA activities can be found on the Web.
