Both the mayoral and city council race were tightly contested.
Marchand currently holds a 302-vote lead over to become Livermore's next mayor. However, the race is too close to call. Alameda County Registrar of Voters Dave Macdonald said about 1,000 mail-in ballot still have to be counted. .
