Westbound Lanes on Highway 84 Closed Due to 3 Car Crash Outside of Livermore

The road is expected to reopen shortly.

A three-car crash near a General Electric nuclear plant outside of Livermore has closed all westbound lanes of state Highway 84, according to the California Highway Patrol.
 
The crash was reported at 6:04 a.m. near the Vallecitos Nuclear Center on Highway 84 between Livermore and Interstate Highway 680, the CHP said. A Ford Explorer, a BMW and another vehicle crashed there, shutting down all westbound lanes of the highway, the CHP said.
 
There were minor injuries to at least one person but no serious injuries. Traffic is moving on the center divide and the road is expected to reopen shortly, the CHP said.
