Former Tri-Valley Couple Dead in North Carolina in Apparent Murder-Suicide

Authorities in North Carolina say Robert Seymore shot and killed his wife, Amber, in a murder suicide on Monday. They left behind three children. Amber Seymore went to high school in Danville, worked in Pleasanton and lived in Livermore. Seymore and her husband, Robert Seymore, a retired BART officer lived in the Tri-Valley before moving to North Carolina. Amber's friends are posting their memories about her online.

Big-Rig Slips Down Hillside

A big-rig involved in a collision on eastbound I-580 near the North Flynn Road exit blocked commuters in both directions Wednesday morning. After the collision, while the rig was pulled off to the side of the road, it suddenly slide down the hillside. A bulletin by MantecaCommuter said the tractor-trailer truck was on its side stuck in brush 100 feet below the freeway.

A Livermore woman caught a prowler on her porch on video during the early hours of the morning on Dec. 5. Sara Admundson, who lives in the 1700 block of Walnut Street, says her house has been regularly visited by a prowler since she moved in on Oct. 1. Watch the video here.
