Victim of Fatal Altamont Pass Crash Identified

A southern California teen has been identified as the person who died in a solo-vehicle crash near the Altamont Pass.

Officials have identified the driver killed in a solo-vehicle crash Saturday as a Southern California teen, according to a report by the Contra Costa Times.

The Times' report says Oscar Torrejon, 19,  of Santa Ana was headed eastbound on Interstate 580 just east of the junction with Interstate 205 when his car flipped and crashed into a light pole.

The crash was reported at around 5:45 p.m.
