UPDATE: Fire Officials Investigating Quarter-Acre Vegetation Fire on South S Street

The fire is in the 600 block of South S Street, according to Pulsepoint

A vegetation fire in the 600 block of South S Street in Livermore burned brush near the creek this morning, Livermore Pleasanton Fire Battalion Chief Paul Legasa said.

The Pulsepoint phone application sent out an alert that the fire had been confirmed at 10:22 a.m.

Legasa says the fire burned about one-quarter acre of vegetation in the creek area.

"LPD is investigating witnesses for further information," Legasa said.
