Three Arrested After Suspected Drug Deal

Suspects found with possession of marijuana and cocaine in residential area of Keystone and Leland Ways, police said.

Three people were arrested Thursday evening after a suspected drug deal, Sgt. Erin Cole said.

At about 7 p.m. police received a report of possible drug use in the residential area of Keystone and Leland Ways. Officers Keith Pini and responded and found two vehicles parked near the intersection.

The officers smelled marijuana coming from the vehicles and conducted a search, Cole said.

Two juveniles interviewed by police admitted to possession of marijuana, and said it was purchased from others at the scene.

Livermore residents Kate Marie Lanto and Marc Gabriel Acosta were found on scene to be in possession of marijuana and cash.

Lanto, 21, had 0.98 grams of marijuana in her purse. Acosta, 19, was in possession of 6.4 grams of marijuana.

The two were arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana for sales.

Dublin resident Talia Marie Capizzelli also was arrested on scene after police found cocaine in her purse, Cole said.

Capizzelli, 21, and Lanto are both scheduled to be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Department 701 of the Gale-Schenone Hall of Justice in Pleasanton.

Acosta is scheduled to be arraigned at 9 a.m. May 9 in Department 701 of the Gale-Schenone Hall of Justice.

All three are being held at Santa Rita Jail in Dublin. Each have a bail of $10,000.

The two juveniles contacted by police were cited and released, Cole said.

The area of Thursday's incident is a quiet neighborhood in town.

"The residential neighborhood is not historically associated with drug sales," Cole said.
