Suspected Mobile Home Park Shooter Seriously Hurt in Accident

51-year-old Livermore man was airlifted after reportedly driving under influence and crashing into another vehicle in Santa Rosa.

A man sought by police in  was seriously injured later that evening in a traffic collision in Santa Rosa, Sgt. Kevin Santin said.

Bruce Baker of Livermore was airlifted to a hospital after he crashed into a vehicle carrying five people. One other person was seriously injured in the accident.

Santin was unable to say when or exactly where the accident happened. Livermore Patch has contacted Santa Rosa California Highway Patrol officials for further details.

Baker, 51, faces a possible charge of driving under the influence, Santin said.

A firearm was found at the accident scene. It's not yet known whether it was the weapon used in a north Livermore shooting which happened around 5:15 p.m.

At that time, officers went to the Lonesome Dove Estate mobile home park on the 800 block of Olivina Avenue for a report of a shooting.

Santin said a . Investigators suspect the shot came from a nearby mobile home occupied by Baker, who left before officers arrived.
