Stabbing at Jack in the Box in North Livermore

A 17-year-old Modesto boy was stabbed in the shoulder Saturday night by a motorcyclist who was being attacked and beaten by a group of 20 teens, according to the Livermore Police Department.

Preschool Cited After 2-Year-Old Tied Up for Refusing to Nap


The Centerpointe Christian Church Preschool was issued a citation for a personal rights violation after a preliminary investigation conducted by the California Department of Social Services into allegations a teacher bound a 2-year-old girl's hands and feet with masking tape when the child refused to nap. The church staff responded to the incident in a statement by saying they were 'appalled and shocked' while the former preschool director says he had no knowledge of the incident. The teacher was identified by the state records as Angela Calcagno of Livermore who is now not allowed in any licensed child day care or residential facility.
