Roadway Cleared After Downed Power Pole Blocked Lanes For Hours

A road in Livermore had reopened this morning after a downed power pole blocked the roadway for several hours, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The pole was reported down at North Vasco Road near Dalton Avenue in Livermore at about 9:40 p.m. Sunday, the CHP said.

A Sig-alert was issued at about midnight as crews worked on clearing the pole from the roadway, according to the CHP.

Nearly six hours after the pole was reported down, at 3:24 a.m., the roadway was cleared and the Sig-alert was lifted, the CHP said.
