Instead of carrying handcuffs, volunteers from the Livermore Police Department, including Chief Michael Harris, will be carrying trays, taking orders and raising money for Special Olympics.

The popular Tip-A-Cop fundraiser will be held Friday, Nov. 22 between 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Strizzi's in Livermore.

Three Strizzi's locations will be participating in the East Bay including Strizzi's in Fremont and Pleasanton.

All of the tips raised during the fundraiser will benefit the 16,000 athletes of Special Olympics Northern California.
